shit. I'm going to "update", it'll mean nothing to you, me, or anyone else that matters. pretty soon, things will all even out. '72, '69. or '06. Doesn't really matter. It's all going to come together soon. Happiness comes to all that deserve, that understand. Fate? Sure why not, as long as you don't suck I say good ridance to all else. Enjoy your night, someone say hi to me soon. good night. so me so me, me so, blue blue green, 'fore I let you go.
general:
tired, as always.
busy, probably think I'm busier than actually am.
happy, a usual state of affairs I guess. I think I'm just to passive to not be...

been playing drums quite a bit lately. Begining to realize a lot of things. One of them being patience and it's relation to my achieving what I'd like to achieve. Have some interesting ideas for studying with various people over the next year or so. Otherwise school is ok, did really well on my ear training midterm. Working a lot this month, meaning I'll be in Lowell a lot this month. I'm into it although it's a pain in my ass, my backpack broke, it will be missed. At one point in time I had a sweet patchy back pack, I lost it though. It is also missed. Going to see Trey next week. The new record is awesome, I was afraid it wouldn't be so good...If anyone knows some sort of a horn player in the area they should let me know as I have a few ideas in my head.
so I'm home. Walking from South Station to Brighton at 4am after being away for 3 weeks was the most triumphant moment of my life. There are a lot of cool things/people in the country, there are an equal number of shitty things/people though. I'd like to make some sort of profound statement about what I learned about myself/the world/etc etc etc but I wouldn't know where to begin, all I know is this, life is good, I'm happy.

p.s. I moved to Boston today, 29 Holman St. in Allston. Come visit.

where do I start. I haven't really been home in close to two weeks. In that time I have spent many nights on the couch at Ashford and many nights in Matthew's bed, I don't really miss my bed, just the idea of having one. I have travelled to NYC, Maine, and the Cape. I will soon add CT, Long Island, Richmond, and somewhere in North Carolina whilst driving They and the Children around on tour. From there, I meet Matty and we head west. I'm undecided on whether or not I should head back to Lowell tonight or tomorow afternoon. There are many things to consider, many things. I'm now going to feast upon some of Capn's sweet family cookout desert.

can't sleep. not sure if it's the coffee(a good excuse...) or the amount of shit running through my head right now. I just want to go. Now. So many thoughts, ideas, plans. Wants. Listening to Phish. Reminds me of starlake 2 years ago, sitting out on the grass looking at the sky. Wondering what was next. Where I was going(besides Camden). I have trouble finding the middle ground of spontaneity and, well, planning my life out months in advance. There's just too fucking much to live. Too many things that keep you from living all of it. Makes my neck hurt. I don't know where I wanted to go with this. can we consider this sentence?

I've decided that I want to live life a little slower as soon as possible.

I need to go to bed.

<3.

shit needs to chill the fuck out.

one month of 40 hour work weeks left. I plan on playing shows the weekend of the 15th(info soon) and then riding my bike to boston the monday after. I might not return. We'll see. Things on the summer agenda include living in boston and philly, traveling to california to visit Asha, Madao, Mike and Julia and Danny(maybe?). Going camping and possibly going to Canada. Tour will happen August 26th-September 4th. Possibly begining with (if I have it my way) 2 record release shows, the first being outdoors downtown during the afternoon, free and all ages. The second being at Evo's later at night and hopefully only 18 plus(this is because playing evo's has be bandied about, hmm...aren't they closing? Either way. The first show will be sick.)

that's all.

Usually I'm really stressed out about not practicing enough, or having to get this or that done, etc. I'm about to go back to bed though and I'm stoked about it.
I'm looking forward to this weekend.

WOAH.

looking forward? yes. This time, I most likely won't be let down because I'm looking forward to it for the right reasons, or atleast the right distractions.

I worked 8-6ish, a little before today. Then we practiced, we have a new song. Tomorow, I'm going to go flyer for tomorow night and the mass art show next week. I'm also going to practice tomorow, I'm hoping for about 4 hours split into 2 sessions. We'll see if my attention span will allow it. Tomorow night is the show. I plan on drinking wine and having a good time, I also plan on not worrying, and in some ways, not caring.

Friday I will practice more, then get on a train and go to boston to apply for my major, which is performance, once that is done I can actually register for classes, so far I've got two, maybe three, harmony 3, solfege 1(it's an easier version of ear training 3 I believe) and probably arranging...I think, not sure if I signed up for that yet. Friday night is hip hop and keg's at Litchfield. Andy and Stephen are gonna trek down from Amherst and hang out, I'm stoked.

Saturday I hope to get food and then travel home, practice on my own, and with Rich and Jay. I was thinking a Big Big Bucks practice was in order, but I think Chris said he had to work. After I will relax, probably hang out here and listen to records with any interested party's.

Sunday I will work 9-5, then maybe practice with a band, and then practice on my own.

Here's to me, and you, having a good weekend.

<3 Tuck.

p.s. why did I write all of this bullshit?
Minamata, Fox Common and the 30 something arts revolution.

my band is playing at Fox Common this coming thursday, the 7th I believe. It's free as always, Sparrows and Paraffin Section or some related band is also playing. I feel as though I have something to prove at this show, it's probably because I haven't played a show in Lowell that I've been happy with in a long time, it's also probably just the fact that we're playing in Lowell, a place that I have a very large love hate relationship with right now. I'm sick of many things around here, including the "music" scene (or lack of one for those of us not in denial). I promise to make a spectacle of myself in some way shape or form. Come check it out, should be some sort of fun.

once again...

Thursday, April 7th.
@ Fox Common....Free.
Minamata(that's me)
Sparrows(that's them)
Paraffin Section(I think that's them)
8pm.

I'm stoked, it's at some sort of big "venue" but it'll still be sweet.
